Introducing a Christian website in the web media is not a significant event these days, but we understand it has its own importance. A brick in the world’s largest man made structure - the Great Wall of China, has no visible significance; however, the absence of a brick in that wall could be detrimental to the great wonder. Our effort to launch a website is an attempt to fill any void in the great mission of Kingdom building. No matter what and how insignificant our endeavour may be, we realize that the there are fissures to be filled in the great mission of communicating the Good news to all. This thought has driven us to come up with the idea of “TheTOLC.com” website. We have something to tell the world, like the blind man healed by Jesus (Book of Gospel according John, chapter 9). As he was talking about Jesus to others, he received a new revelation about Jesus that he has not just stumbled on to a miracle worker, but the son of God who came from heaven. Similarly, communicating about Jesus to our neighbours and friends leads us to a deeper understanding of the Son of God. During this process, blessings go in both directions, to the communicator and to the receiver.

In this website, we have included articles, video and audio messages from various people from different walks of life. Our vision is to communicate the truth, the word of God. We understand that this message needs to go out to all people from various cultures and backgrounds. So we invite all, if possible, to share your thoughts and ideas about the Good news through this website.

The perception of the truth may slightly vary based on the backgrounds and cultures. The truth has different shades or other dimensions; or a person sense or understands the truth based on the knowledge acquired from the social stratum. A person from the middle-east can very well understand the concept of the Lord’s Supper than anybody from other parts of the world. During the proposal stage of a typical middle-eastern marriage, if a Jewish girl shares the same cup of wine as the young man who proposes, she confirms the acceptance of him as her life partner. When Jesus offered his blood as wine, he was asking for a lifetime commitment that extends to eternity, not to share a cup for the moment or for a mere remembrance of his death on the cross, it goes beyond all of that. When I learned the story behind sharing the cup, it gave me a more understanding on the importance and implied meaning of the Lord’s Supper that happens every other week in my church. Previously, the concept of the bread and wine didn't make much sense to me though I participated wholeheartedly in the Lord’s Supper, knowing I am obeying one of the Lord’s commandments. That’s when I was explained about the backdrops of the Lord’s Supper, which our Lord instituted. Now every time I attend the Lord’s Supper, it takes me to a higher level of spiritual fellowship and a renewal of a lifetime commitment to my Lord. Our endeavor is an attempt to capture all the shades of the truth - that is eternal and unchanging, so that we will not miss any part of it.

During the launch of this site, we have decided to talk about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. This message is of utmost urgency; the message runner can not hold that information any longer. This message is costlier than the runner’s life. The Word of God speaks about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and world events point to the fulfilment of Biblical prophecies. Unfortunately, the divided society fails to read the signs of the biggest event going to take place, just like riding in a runaway train. Do the Bible believers know when it is going to happen? No, but they know it is sure and very close. Look around, many of the things in the current world can not inspire any hope, but it causes despair and anguish. Few can offer a solution to the problems that loom large with unending threat over the globe.

 Lately, a flu spread scares across nations. The flu virus raises a question on alleged capabilities offered by modern science and technology. All the entry points of most of the countries are equipped with facilities to corner any traveller arriving with the flu virus. We can simply put the emerging scenario like this - the trust among humans are becoming very thin suspecting even the person next to you may be a carrier of a deadly virus. This suspicion will tip the balance of peace and harmony that exists in the society. This is not only happening in the so called 'third world countries', even the most advanced nations have become victims. In the last 15 years, many recurrences of deadly disease scare occurred in the world, and the frequency of similar threats keep on increasing as the years go by.

We are witnessing the predicament of almost all nations including the great economies coming to their knees due to the ongoing economic recession, contrary to the misconception that the world is riding on the wave of economic boom. Unfortunately, this illusion has turned to a painful reality of helplessness. Once the world thought that money brings power, however, power bases of the world has shaken up Now, there is no telling what the future holds.

PEACE- has the word lost its meaning? To bring peace the world uses weapons of killing and destruction. The entire globe is busy talking of peace, while atrocities like ethnic cleansing is going on, not only in Africa, but it is also happening in Asian countries. We have summits for peace, but ironically the same people attending the summits and bringing ideas for peace are the ones behind the scene thinking about enhancing the capabilities of their weapons of mass destruction. Even the environment is doing its part to paint a picture of hopelessness. Science keep warning about the imminent danger of depleting the stock of life preserving substance like water. What does it tell you?

Some smart people think that this could be end of civilization, a collapse of civilization at its peak. Does that suggest that our fate is almost decided? In the midst of the chaos and prevailing utter hopelessness, something is happening underneath the layer of world events. It is the evolution of another civilization, it is called the Kingdom of God, it is like dough in a pot kept in the kitchen overnight, when it overflows it will be visible, till that time, it works silently, nothing can stop the process, it is humble but surely invincible. A civilization is in the making, a Kingdom is extending its territories, crossing all borders, creeping into every culture. The Kingdom is preparing for the arrival of the King, You are hearing the cry due to the pangs of birth of the new civilization, described in the book of Genesis chapter 2 and in the book of Revelation chapter 21 and 22.

You can see the tree of life in Genesis chapter 2 and Revelation chapter 21, it is the life giving tree, and this is Jesus Christ. The tree appears in the first book and the last book of the Bible. Yes, we communicate Jesus, the provider of abundant life.
